Help the Tuaua Plaintiffs Make it to DC for Oral Argument!

Lene_Tuaua_Land.jpgOn Monday, February 9, 2015, Leneuoti Tuaua, Taffy-Lei Maene, Va'a Fosi, Emy Afalava, Fanuatanu Mamea, and Loa Pele Faletogo, President of the Samoan Federation of America, will have their day in court as the D.C. Circuit takes up Tuaua v. United States, a landmark case seeking to recognize what American Samoa's traditional leaders believed when they signed the Deeds of Cession: that so long as the U.S. flag flies over American Samoa, American Samoans have a right to U.S. citizenship.

But they need your help if they are going to actually be able to make it to DC!  Please consider making a tax deductible donation today to help cover their travel and lodging expenses.  Every dollar you contribute before December 31st will be matched.
